How does LottoGPT work?

Find out how you can use LottoGPT to analyze the historical lottery numbers of the EuroJackpot and EuroMillions lottery draw and determine a prediction.

Is it possible to predict the lottery numbers?

Predicting lottery numbers is statistically impossible.

There are many reasons for this:

  • Randomness of the draw: lottery numbers are determined in a random draw. Each number has the same probability of being drawn.
  • High number of possible combinations: In a game like 6 out of 49, there are millions of possible number combinations.
  • No possibility of influence: Unlike other games of chance, there is no way to influence the outcome of the lottery.

How is it possible for people to win?

Despite this statistical impossibility, there are always people who pick the right numbers. This can be explained as follows:

  • Luck: As the drawing of lottery numbers is purely a game of chance, winnings are entirely down to chance.
  • Large number of players: Many people play the lottery, so it is statistically inevitable that some will win.
  • Confirmation bias: We often only hear about the winners, which gives the impression that winning is more likely than it actually is.

Overall, predicting lottery numbers is not possible, and winnings are based purely on chance.

Precondition

In order to use LottoGPT, you need a ChatGPT Plus account.

How it works

LottoGPT works like this:

  • The bot knows all historical EuroJackpot and EuroMillions lottery numbers since 2018
  • You can chat with the bot and ask it to analyze the numbers

For example:

  • LottoGPT follows the instructions to implement your request as accurately as possible

Note: As with all requests (prompts) that you make, e.g. with ChatGPT, the result is heavily dependent on the way in which you make the request.

This means that a prediction can vary greatly depending on the prompt.

Example prompts for analyzing and predicting lottery numbers

Here are a few example prompts that you can use for LottoGPT to analyze the lottery numbers and request a prediction.

It is recommended to tell the bot what the result should be and then how you want to complete the analysis.

For example, you start with:

  • Determine the next 6 numbers and 1 super number based on the historical numbers.
  • Determine the next 6 numbers and 1 super number based on the historical numbers from 2023.

Then add the following to the requirement, for example:

  • Do not use any of the numbers that occurred in the last 5 draws.
  • At the end, replace the number that occurs most frequently with the number that occurs least frequently.

You can also simply carry out analyses:

  • Which numbers occur most frequently?
  • Which numbers occur the least?
  • Which number was drawn most frequently in 2023?
  • Which 6 numbers were drawn most frequently in January?
  • etc.

Please note once again: the lottery numbers are drawn by chance and it is theoretically impossible to predict the numbers.
